What is the best hunting rifle? (READ DETAILS)?
A subjective question, I know, but I have standards. must be able to take hog so….minimum of 223. Maximum price is 600, I want to hunt boar and deer, bolt action or semi auto are prime, brush gun is OK, but looking more of a medium/long range deal….brush and long range would be good though
CZ, tikka, old mauser, husqvarna, or milsurp in 6.5×55 swede. Most if the used models are affordable (def under 600), and 6.5×55 cartridge can handle a variety of bullet weights to suit situations, long(er) ranges, or brush.
